9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use three kinds, and you choose two of them.
Essential. These keep the Site and its forms working, for example the spam check on our forms and the record of your cookie choice. They are always on.
Measurement. These count visits and the pages people read, so we can improve the Site. We use Google Analytics, Hotjar and HubSpot for this. Hotjar does not record what you type into our forms.
Advertising. These show our ads to people who visited the Site, and tell us which ads brought visitors here. We use Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, OpenAI and HubSpot for this. When Advertising is on, an advertising partner may receive a one-way coded (hashed) version of contact details you type into a form on the Site, so it can match your visit to its own users without receiving those details as plain text.
Your choice. On your first visit, a panel asks which cookies we may use. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie Settings, at the foot of every page. We keep your choice in a cookie for 180 days. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, Measurement and Advertising stay off until you turn them on. Elsewhere, they are on until you turn them off.
Videos and fonts. Some pages show YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which stores no cookies until you play a video. When you play one, YouTube's privacy policy applies. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's IP address to send them.
